Martin Berdugo crosses borders and takes silver in Miami
Martín Berdugo from the Ribera del Duero wins in Miami
Martín Berdugo, Aranda de Duero, took part in the competition "Premios de Vinos para Tapas, Miami" which was run in conjunction with the Centro Cultural Español in Miami.
In this two phase competition a professional jury first awarded medals to twenty one wines to go forward to the phase of the competition. In this first phase two wines from Martín Berdugo were awarded silver medals, which meant that they could move on to the second phase.
This second part was held in the Moore Centre in Miami where more than 40 people, representing the public in Miami, tasted the winning wines, and chose their favorites. Both Martín Berdugo wines were very well received, and the joven wine was among the favorites, although it did not make it into the final three. We are very pleased that wines from the Ribera del Duero are becoming so popular in the US, and hope to expand our market even further than Miami.
